About Ayi Studio

Design starts with perspective.

Ayi means “ground” in Fon, a local dialect of our founder’s native country, Benin. It’s a name about where things start — and it shapes how this studio works.

AYI

Fon / noun
Ground. Foundation. Where ideas begin.

The idea behind the studio

Ideas need ground to stand on.

Every project begins somewhere: a site, a problem, a conversation, a half-formed idea. But ideas need ground to stand on, and no single discipline can carry one the distance alone.

Ayi Studio was built around that reality — one connected practice spanning architecture, visualization, brand, digital, and marketing, rather than a stack of separate services, grounded in design and technical knowledge, shaped by how people experience the world, and built to hold together from first sketch to final delivery.

What we do

One studio. Multiple disciplines. One connected process.

A space influences a brand. A brand shapes a digital experience. A strong visual story can change how people understand a place before they ever set foot in it. Most studios specialize in one piece of that chain. Ayi Studio connects all of it — so nothing gets lost in translation from the people designing the space to the people telling its story.

Experience Design

Physical and digital experiences shaped around how people actually move, interact, and decide. Spatial concepts, environments, user journeys, and experience strategy, with people at the center of every decision.

Architectural Visualization

Design intent turned into images people immediately understand. Stills, animations, and walkthroughs built on real architectural and construction knowledge — not just render-software polish.

Brand & Identity

Positioning, logo systems, typography, and guidelines built to hold up in the real world, not just in a presentation deck.

Web & Digital

Websites and digital experiences designed around clarity, usability, and conversion, so the site does more than display work — it makes the work easier to understand.

Marketing Design

Presentations, pitch materials, campaigns, brochures, social assets, and property marketing that make complex ideas feel clear, polished, and easy to act on.

How we work

Grounded in experiences, remembered through stories.

The process sits between creative intuition and analytical thinking. Technical accuracy and design intent aren’t in tension here — they’re the same job, done well. We care about the details, but we care just as much about what those details add up to once a client, a customer, or a visitor experiences the finished work.

Foundation

We start with what’s real: research, strategy, technical constraints, and project goals. The work should not only look right — it should make sense.

Perspective

Design is experienced, not just observed. The people who will use the space, encounter the brand, or navigate the site are part of the process from day one, not an afterthought at the end of it.

Connection

The strongest work feels intentional from one touchpoint to the next. We connect spaces to stories, identities to experiences, and visuals to strategy, so every piece reinforces the whole.

The difference

Experienced hands, close collaboration.

Ayi Studio is intentionally small. That means every project stays close to the people actually doing the thinking and the making — no account layers, no diluted handoffs, no game of telephone between strategy and execution.

What you get instead is direct collaboration and one connected process, from the first conversation through final delivery.

DIRECT

Collaboration with the people doing the work.

CONNECTED

One process from strategy through execution.

“

No game of telephone. No diluted handoffs.

Just experienced people, clear thinking, and work that holds together.

FOUNDER STATEMENT

Common ground, by design.

Different perspectives make better design. Ayi Studio brings architecture, visualization, identity, digital experiences, and communication together through one connected point of view — work rigorous enough to stand up technically, human enough to connect emotionally, and useful enough to make a difference.
