Project overview
A community-focused restroom facility designed to extend the principles of inclusive design beyond the playground and into the broader park experience. Located adjacent to an inclusive play environment, the project creates a welcoming and accessible amenity that supports visitors of all ages and abilities.
The facility provides multiple single-user restrooms, including an accessible accommodation, along with supporting utility and storage spaces. The layout prioritizes privacy, ease of use, intuitive circulation, and equitable access, while thoughtfully responding to the character and activity of the surrounding park.
The project presented an opportunity to translate the principles of inclusive design into a small but meaningful piece of community infrastructure—creating a facility that is functional, welcoming, and designed with dignity for every user.
